Not investment advice
MarketGrade is a research tool. Its scores, rankings, evidence excerpts, and any other output are for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, or an offer or solicitation of any kind. MarketGrade and its operator are not registered as an investment adviser or broker-dealer with the SEC or any other authority.
Scores are relative, not predictions
Every score is a percentile rank within the S&P 500 at a point in time — a statement about how a company compares to the rest of the index on specific measured inputs, not a forecast of returns. High scores go down; low-scored stocks go up. Historical score series shown in charts are reconstructions for context, not a backtest, and past patterns do not predict future results.
Data and model limitations
Inputs come from public sources (SEC EDGAR, USPTO, news aggregation, market data) that can be delayed, incomplete, restated, or wrong. Qualitative scores are produced by large language models constrained to cite verbatim evidence; the citation requirement reduces, but cannot eliminate, model error. Some companies have missing scores or data — absence is deliberate where sources don't support an assertion.
Do your own diligence
Before making any investment decision, verify the underlying facts in the primary sources (every cited quote links to its SEC filing) and consult a qualified, licensed financial adviser who knows your circumstances. You alone are responsible for your investment decisions.
